Exceptional complete 3-issue run of YARROWSTALKS, the Philadelphia-based underground magazine that was the first to publish R. Crumb's drawings in 1967.
YARROWSTALKS #3 is an all-Crumb issue that predated Zap Comix #1 by about five months.
#1 (28,5 x 42,5 cm): 24 pages, Crumb on pp. 8, 9, 11, 14 (1st appearance of Mr. Natural).
#2 (28 x 40,5 cm, green & violet cover): 16 pages, Crumb on p. 10. Includes the first "Head Comix" strip.
#3 (28 x 41 cm) : 8 pages, all Crumb. Back cover has the 1st printing of «Life among the Constipated» with uncensored 6th panel.
The three magazines are in VG condition, with occasional small tears but no missing pieces. The 3-issue run of YARROWSTALKS hardly ever comes up for sale!!!
The three issues will be mailed in a mylar bag with adequate overall protection.
