This Beetle was made in Germany, delivered new in the city of Pistoia (PT) and has always lived near our headquarters. 

It still has its original 5-digit black number plates and registration certificate booklet of first registration.

This version is especially sought after and interesting because it combines a retro look with the typical flat windscreen and painted dashboard with more modern suspension and a 12 Volts electrical system.

It is fitted with its original engine code ‘D’ as per the registration certificate, and it is in the original Ivory colour with red interior. 

The front seats were redone a few years ago in the original colour, and the car has always been kept in working order.

It has passed all the technical inspections over the years, which are written on the registration certificate and show that it has always been kept in good working order: 1982, 1988, 1994, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019. The current inspection is valid until September 2021. However, this is a direct purchase from the previous owner and some routine maintenance may be needed in the near future.

Recently, brakes, steering heads, petrol lines were overhauled and the tank was restored.

The car starts well and drives nicely, with a full sound typical of the 4-cylinder Boxer.

Over the years, some work has been carried out to the underbody, as shown in the photos on the lift.

The feeler gauge test showed no major incidents (as shown in photos). 
The compression test also gave good results.

Original jack, spare wheel and tool kit are included.

It is increasingly rare to find these painted dashboard models in original condition with a known history,
original engine and original number plates of first registration.
