This Lot includes a Fantastic Original Pen and Ink Modesty Blaise strip by artist Neville Colvin (1918-1991), as well as a Mint copy of the Modesty Blaise Companion (expanded-edition).

The letter shown from Peter O’Donnell to Neville Colvin, praising his work on the strip is for photo reference only, but goes to show that the writer puts Colvin’s strips in very high esteem- equal to the work of Jim Holdaway.

The Strip:
A great plot twist where Modesty meets herself as an evil agent! In this scene, Modesty is stunned by meeting her evil double, who manages to strike and drug her.

This strip forms part of the story ‘The Double Agent’- the last Blaise story drawn by Colvin 

The Book:
This book is a must have for any collector or enthusiast- detailing every villain, character and plot synopses to every story, and also reproduces in FULL the little known strip “In The Beginning”-Modesty’s origin story. 2021 edition.

Modesty Blaise strips are iconic classics, and this one has TWO Modesty's confronting each other!
