Condition: Good - one marginal tear (1 cm) on bottom of one page - a label at inside front cover with text "Ayr Acadamy MDCCCCX price awarded to Christina.R.Robertson" - name of ms.Robertson on blank front page - some minor foxing but only on first and last blank pages - attention: the double fold-out plate "deer" is complete in tact as original.

Artistic-Japan-(French:-Le-Japon-artistique:-documents-d'art-et-d'industrie)-was-a-19th-century-Paris-based-magazine-dedicated-to-Japanese-art, published-by-German-born-French-art-dealer-Siegfried-Bing. It-ran-for-thirty-six-monthly-issues-from-1888-to-1891 in-French,-English,-and-German-editions-and-contributed-to-a-revival-of-Japonism.
The-English-art-dealer-Marcus-Bourne-Huish-(1845–1922)-handled-publication-of-an-English-language-that-also-circulated-in-the-United-States.

In-2004-2006-the-Van-Gogh-Museum-in-Amsterdam-organised-a-large-exhibition-on-Bing, which-went-on-tour-throughout-different-museums-in-Europe.
