It is difficult to attribute the appropriate amount of respect and appreciation to the famous brand called PIERCE ARROW. Instead of mass production, Pierce Arrow focused on the social and economic elite at the time. Unique colours and designs, not available to others, were specially made for prominent families. Seats, carpets, upholstery, luggage space, everything was "custom-made" which resulted solely in unique cars.

The unparalleled engines provided the cars with great reliability, comfort and prestige. The quality of the construction of the chassis provided a long lifespan, which made it possible to replace the body on this chassis several times over the course of years.

The value of certain PIERCE ARROW types are continuing to increase. Especially in the USA, people regard this brand as national heritage. According to the PIERCE ARROW Society of America, there are only 3 copies left of the type 1601 8-Cylinder Convertible Coupé that is offered here. This combined with the top quality of the vehicle in question makes for a unique object for collectors and/or investors. The car has a Spanish registration.

The current owner took the car from the United States to Spain in the 70s and totally restored the vehicle as a personal project. A lot of documentation/history is present with the car, as are lots of spare parts. Due to circumstances, the owner has decided to auction the cars and end the PIERCE ARROW era. He owns 2 other Pierce Arrow vehicles, which may also be sold at a later point in time. 

This car is absolutely in concours condition and can drive great distances (independently!) without a problem. 

The car can be viewed in southern Spain, near Malaga. Possible transport of the car can be organised upon agreement.
