Offered here is a concert poster from the early psychedelic days of the Family Dog/ Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco 1966.
This is one of the toughest Avalon posters to find in any condition and i am pleased to offer this example for your consideration.
It was used to promote a series of shows featuring Janis Joplin and the Big Brother and the Holding Company/ 
Charlatans/ The Daily Flash/ The Rising Sons.
Show dates where May 6-7/1966 at the Family Dog Ballroom.
This is unquestionably one of the gems of the psychedelic poster era. It's called "EUPHORIA" 
It is the 7th image in the Family Dog Series.
This third print poster measures approx. 14″ x 20″ and carries the notation “No. 7-3” in the lower right corner. 
The poster has been very carefully preserved for over forty-five years, is in very good condition, and would make a very nice substitute for the much more expensive first print ($15000)
