This custom prepared Jaguar MKII has seen a lot of the world and has a lot of experience in rallying. Now, it is looking for a new owner to take it to new places.

The Jaguar MKR(ally) as we call it, has participated in quite some challenging classic long distance events. Let the results speak for themselves:

- Himalaya trail 2008 - 1st overall.
- Carrera Copacabana 2010 - 1st in class
- Peking tot Paris 2013 - successful finish, but not in top three

and several other smaller rallies such as several Tulpen Rallies, SLS classic, Spice road classic, etc.

What has been done to make this car such a successful rally weapon?

The basis is a Jaguar MKII from 1960 fitted with a 3.4 litre straight six Jaguar engine. 
- The engine has been completely rebuild and fitted with a straight 
   port head producing around 230HP
- Larger carburettors
- Spaghetti manifold
- Completely balanced engine
- The chassis has been reinforced with steel tubes welded from scutle 
  to the trunk. 
- The body has been completely welded and reinforced
- Installed a rollcage
- Vented front discs
- Seperate braking system 
- Electric sliding tilt roof
- Added extra cooling openings in the engine bay 
- Custom made bonnet with extra cooling
- Kenlowe fan for improved cooling
- Reinforced spoked wheels (also 2 spare wheels)
- Custom made fuel tank with 2 compartiments and tank protection.
- 3 fuel pumps
- Reinforced suspension, springs and dampers front and back.
- The underbody is reinforced 
- Custom made interior, for practical nihilism, whilst maintaining the 
  classic feel and look of the MKII.
- Roof ventilation for driving in the desert (extra cooling for people 
  inside, and overpressure in the cabin)
- Dukes of Hazard horn
- etc. etc. Please see pictures for other changes.

The engine and other mechanics are in excellent condition. No work is needed to be able to drive the next rally. 

The paint has some scratches and misses a few chips, but nothing extensive. Please refer to the pictures.  

The underbody has some flash rust, see pictures. Absolutely no rotten spots, and no rust on the bodywork, as the car has always been stored inside a heated building after a rally.
