The 2000 series with the triangular hour markers, look fantastic, plus the size and balance is spot on . "neo-vintage," 1980s Heuer 2000 series is one not to be missed!  This watch is a true testament to a timeless design. 

Era: the last, or first, produced in the Heuer to TAG Heuer handover this is a rare dial 

uni-directional bezel insert is a brighter black than the dial and really makes the black of the divers' countdown- easy to read.

The lumed, triangular hour markers are what really pop on the dial and make for an easy read. 

Following on from the hugely successful 1000 series Tag Heuer decided to keep a lot unchanged in the later 2000 series models. They did however decide to add complications and this particular reference is an example of a chronograph capable of being used by divers up to 200 metres depth. It also has a beautiful reverse panda dial, all black with the white sub dials. 
Internally it is powered by a Cal. 185 Eta 555 232, by dubios depraz and as with any Swiss quartz it’s extremely accurate and reliable.features the ‘super-quartz’ Calibre. 185 movement – it uses the Dubois Depraz 2000 chronograph module mated with a quartz engine.


Case and strap: Steel case and original 20mm Matt/glossy flip-lock bracelet 
early 2000 designs, they have a military/tool-ness to them, and the fluted pushes hints back to the early Heuers.
