Antique large Kundan Navartna Necklace hand made, gilded on sterling silver base (vermeil), enamels and gold foil setting from India, ca. 1900-1930, Mughal style, probably Jaipur for the wire around some settings. The necklace is made of tested sterling silver (it had to be filed down in a hidden spot at one end) with thick fire gilding, gold foil and enamels with genuine set rose-cut diamonds that have been tested, while no analysis has been performed on the colored stones, that seem to be a mixed of genuine gems and imitation stones. In the central band, red stones appear to be red spinels, alternating the rose-cut diamonds, while the larger stones at the top and at the bottom, except quartz, appear to be imitations, with the end drops most likely genuine cabochon ruby roots. The weight of the necklace is 138.6 grams. The measurement of the section from side to side is 20 cm with a height of 6.5 cm and a side length of 4 cm.
