A charming pair of hand-carved owl bookends in solid oak wood, dating from the Art Deco period (circa 1920s). Each owl is beautifully sculpted with expressive details and fitted with original glass eyes that give a lifelike and captivating appearance.
The bases feature the typical geometric layering of early 20th-century craftsmanship, giving the pair both character and stability. They have been carefully polished and waxed, highlighting the warm tones and natural grain of the oak.
