The Milk Bottle Lamp takes the familiar shape of a milk bottle and transforms it into a timeless light fixture. Sandblasted glass, a simple cord, and a chrome top — this minimalist design turns the everyday into something extraordinary. The glass has a sandblasted finish which looks just like creamy milk and the effect is further enhanced by a gold zinc bottle top suspension. The light is suspended from a cream braided cord cable which is 100 cm as standard - this can be shortened at the point of installation for a shorter drop. First created in 1991, the lamp has become a classic in modern lighting, now part of prestigious collections. Each bottle, suspended on a long cable, embodies Droog’s philosophy of combining simplicity with innovative thought. The Milk Bottle Lamp is part of the MoMA design collection.
