Quinta da Barreira, located in the wine region of Lisbon, is part of this rich landscape set in the municipality of Torres Vedras. The vineyards at Quinta da Barreira were renovated in 2006. WINEMAKER: José Gaspar WINE VARIETIES: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon & Touriga Nacional. VINIFICATION Vinified with fermentation temperature control at 25ºC and maceration for around 10 days. Bottled with reduced filtration, it can create deposits during aging. TASTING NOTES Wine with a clear appearance and intense ruby color. On the nose it presents aromas of very ripe red fruits and nuances of soft spices and a floral finish. In the mouth it reveals dry but elegant tannins, a fruity, velvety and intense flavor. Persistent finish. SERVING Goes well with red meat dishes, roasts and strong cheeses. Store, in a horizontal position, in a cool, dry place, protected from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at a temperature of 18ºC to 20ºC. Consume in moderation.
