Although the title suggests it's a jewelry box, this is originally an old lady's jar used to store makeup powder. You can see that it still has the powder dispenser inside. A true collector's item with a worked silver top, as you can see, and properly hallmarked.
The glass has two small defects, as you can see in the photos, but this is part of its age.
Please keep in mind this is a true work of art and it's not only the weight of silver being sold.
