Een zeldzame kans voor verzamelaars en liefhebbers van analoge fotografie.
In de veiling staat de legendarische Yashica T5 (Kyocera) in de verfijnde zilveren afwerking. Dit exemplaar is New Old Stock (NOS): de camera is gloednieuw en is nooit gebruikt om foto’s mee te maken.
Functionele toestand (mechanisch & elektronisch):
Status: NIEUW. De elektronica reageert vlot, de autofocussering is nauwkeurig en de filmtransporteert soepel.
Testen uitgevoerd: De camera is elektronisch en mechanisch succesvol getest (sluiter, flitser, autofocus en motor voor het doorvoeren van de film werken volledig). Hij is niet met film getest om de absolute integriteit van de NOS-status te behouden (nooit eerder beladen).
Optiek: Het hart van de camera, de Carl Zeiss Tessar 35mm f/3.5 T*, verkeert in showroomstaat: kristalhelder glas, geen krassen, geen schimmels en geen stof.
Zoeker: De bovenzijde-zoeker “Super Scope” is volledig transparant.
Cosmetische toestand en technische notities:
Hoewel de camera nooit is gebruikt, heeft de tijd enkele conserveringssporen achtergelaten op de zilveren behuizing door langdurig contact in de originele verpakking:
• Oppervlakteverschijnselen: Er zijn enkele krasjes op de grijze afwerking aan sommige hoeken en op de achterkant (duidelijk zichtbaar op de macrofoto’s).
• Achterklep: Bij gesloten toestand vertoont de klep een lichte speling van ongeveer 1-2 mm. Dit komt door de originele rubberen Weatherproof-dichting die, hoewel nieuw, met verloop van tijd wat elasticiteit heeft verloren. De klep blijft echter stevig vastgeklikt en vergrendeld.

Up for auction is the legendary Yashica T5 (Kyocera) in the elegant Silver finish. This unit is New Old Stock (NOS): the camera is brand new and has never been used for shooting.
Functional Condition (Mechanical & Electronic):
Status: NEW. The electronics are snappy, autofocus is precise, and film transport is smooth.
Tests performed: The camera has been successfully tested electronically and mechanically (shutter, flash, autofocus, and film transport motor are fully operational). It has not been film-tested to preserve the absolute integrity of its New Old Stock condition (never loaded before).
Optics: The heart of the camera, the Carl Zeiss Tessar 35mm f/3.5 T* lens, is in showroom condition: crystal clear glass, no scratches, no fungus, no dust.
Viewfinder: The "Super Scope" top-down finder is perfectly transparent.
Cosmetic Condition & Technical Notes:
Although the camera has never been used, time has left some "storage marks" on the silver body due to prolonged contact inside the original packaging:
• Surface marks: There are some abrasions on the grey finish on some corners and the back (clearly shown in the macro photos).
• Back door: When closed, the door shows a slight gap of about 1-2mm. This is caused by the original rubber "Weatherproof" seal which, despite being new, has lost some elasticity over the decades. The door remains securely latched and locked.
