Koji Kasatani (born 1964) is a Japanese artist.
Na afstuderen aan kunstacademie in Florence, Italië,
studeerde ik Italiaanse keramische technieken.
Na terugkeer naar Japan begon ik mezelf uit te dagen werken te maken die de grenzen van keramiek overschreden.
Toen ik wat bananenschillen vond, de favoriete van mijn vader, in de keuken, was ik ervan overtuigd dat dit kunst was, en sindsdien maak ik bananagetinte werken voor ongeveer 18 jaar.
