ABOUT THE ARTIST:
I paint to give form to what cannot always be said with words: the calm, the light, and the emotion of a moment.
I am Noelia Correa, visual artist with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, of Argentinian-Spanish descent. I work in my workshop in Alicante, Spain, for 25 years.
My work is born between two seas that have always accompanied me: the strength of the Atlantic and the serenity of the Mediterranean.
In my paintings I do not seek to represent places, but sensations. I work with acrylics and mixed techniques, building layers, transparencies and textures that invite you to pause for a moment, breathe and connect.
Each work is a very intuitive process, almost like a conversation with the canvas. I seek that balance between energy and calm, always leaving space for the viewer to find their own emotion.
