My work focuses on the creation of unique pieces situated between sculpture and functional object, exploring materiality, structure, and durability. I create sculptural furniture and sculptures in iron and concrete, combining function and sculptural presence with a strong Brutalist influence.

Wallavibe – D.B is een onafhankelijke sculpturale werkplaats waar brutalisme, geometrie en industrieel geheugen worden omgezet in hedendaagse functionele kunst.
Ik ben opgegroeid in een omgeving waar betonnen muren dikker waren dan woorden, en objecten werden gecreëerd niet voor schoonheid, maar voor duurzaamheid. De beelden uit mijn jeugd — grijze woonblokken, enorme meubels, ruwe oppervlakken, ijzer, hout en beton — hebben een diepe indruk achtergelaten op de manier waarop ik denk en creëer.
