Artist Information
Koji Kasatani (geboren 1964) is een Japanse kunstenaar.
Na het afronden van de kunstschool in Florence, Italië, heb ik Italiaanse keramische technieken bestudeerd.
Na terugkeer naar Japan begon ik mezelf uit te dagen om werken te maken die buiten de grenzen van keramiek gingen.
Toen ik in de keuken wat bananensnippers, de favoriet van mijn vader, vond, was ik ervan overtuigd dat dit kunst was, en sindsdien maak ik ongeveer 18 jaar banaan-geïnspireerde werken.
