Published in London in 1853, this volume is richly illustrated with 28 fine steel engravings, including views of Delft, Leiden, Boston, Plymouth, the Mayflower, churches, historic buildings, maps and portraits. The engravings were executed by renowned Victorian engravers including A. Willmore, C. Cousen, E. Brandard and J.T. Armytage after drawings by the celebrated artist W. H. Bartlett.
