This vibrant 3D pop art serigraph was created by Charles Fazzino (born 1955), the internationally recognized American artist known for his distinctive three-dimensional cityscapes and layered serigraph constructions.

The work demonstrates Fazzino’s signature technique, in which multiple serigraphic elements are individually hand-cut and assembled using spacers to create remarkable depth and visual movement. Glitter accents further enhance the lively atmosphere of the composition.

“CHARGING 5th AVENUE” depicts the bustling energy of Manhattan’s famous avenue, featuring yellow taxis, Tiffany & Co., The Plaza, and numerous animated figures rendered in the artist’s joyful and colorful style. The hand-assembled layers create a dynamic viewing experience that changes according to the angle of observation.

The artwork is hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right margin and numbered 312/350 in the lower left margin.

Condition
The three-dimensional layers remain intact with stable construction and well-preserved glitter details.

Please note that minor sun-fading and slight yellowing are visible along one edge of the inner margin due to age.

The artwork is housed in a custom presentation frame with a blue mat. The frame has a noticeable chip with loss of finish on one lower corner, exposing the underlying wood, as well as minor scuffs consistent with age and handling.
