Nothing Was Urgent is an original abstract floral painting by Ukrainian artist Olga Tsisar, created in Genova, Italy in 2026.

The work captures a quiet, suspended moment in which nothing seems to demand attention. An open field of turquoise, aqua and soft green occupies much of the composition, while delicate botanical forms gradually emerge from below.

Fine, irregular stems create a loose rhythm across the canvas, interrupted by small flowers in yellow, blue, lavender and soft pastel tones. Selected floral elements are built with impasto, rising physically above the canvas and creating subtle shadows as the light changes.

The contrast between the open, almost weightless upper part of the painting and the more detailed lower section gives the composition its sense of space and stillness. Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the work sits between abstraction and an imagined meadow a place associated more with a feeling or memory than with a real location.
