Signature & Markings
* Front: Signed in the lower right corner with the artist's monogram initials, "m.s."
* Reverse (Stretcher): Features the original handwritten title in graphite script: "Przedpokój" (Polish for Antechamber / Foyer / Hallway).
* Provenance Stamp: Retains an authentic, historic DESA (Dzieła Sztuki i Antyki) state inventory stamp on the wood stretcher bar, featuring handwritten evaluation registration number 6555 enclosed in a semi-oval ink frame.
Condition Report
Presented in excellent vintage condition. The oil canvas remains structurally sound, properly tensioned, and displays beautiful, age-appropriate craquelure that confirms its turn-of-the-century heritage. There is no major paint loss or bowing. The original structural wood stretcher is completely intact, complete with its original wooden corner tension keys.
Dimensions
* Total Size (with frame): 72 x 61 cm
* Canvas Size (without frame): Approx. 60 x 50 cm
