Mackinlay's Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey is a faithful recreation of the whiskey taken to Antarctica in 1907 by explorer Ernest Shackleton and his men and discovered in 2007. It was created by Rob Paterson using all his skills to create a drop as close as close to the original as possible by extracting a rare Glen Mhor cask from 1980, as well as heavily peated Dalmore and others including a Glenfarclas, Mannochmore, Tamnavulin, Ben Nevis, Aultmore, Fettercairn, Pulteney and Jura.
