Intrinsically Disordered petals is the first collection in my series of frozen flower studies. I focus on the interaction of colour, texture, and change. The work is influenced by the behaviour of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDP). These forms hold function without fixed structure. I photograph each flower at a stage between vitality and decay.
