Het standaardwerk over de Amerikaanse fotografe Vivian Maier door Richard Cahan en Michael Williams. Op de titelpagina gesigneerd door beide auteurs.

Bevat verschillende hoofdstukken over het werk van deze fotografe:
SNAPSHOTS, AMERICA, DAY, MAXWELL, BEACH, 1968, DOWNTOWN, WALKS en NIGHT telkens ingeleid door de auteurs.
Foto’s uit de beginperiode en alle later werk behalve kleur. Fantastisch drukwerk, volop geïllustreerd. Bijna 300 pagina’s en minstens evenveel foto’s. Zwart-wit. Hardcover, stofomslag, alles in absolute nieuwstaat, mint.
Afmetingen: 24 x 23,5 x 3,5 cm. Gewicht ongeveer 1,6 kg.

Twee posters die in een koker toegezonden worden samen met het boek.Op de foto’s ziet u de posters ingekaderd. Attentie: u ontvangst slechts het boek en de posters, NIET de kaders. Afmetingen posters ongeveer 46 op 30 cm. Beide posters hebben bovenaan kleine sporen van het inkaderen. Zie laatste foto’s. Als u passende lijsten gebruikt zonder passe partout merkt u niets van deze sporen. Verder zijn de posters absoluut nieuw. Als u met een passe partout werkt, kunt u deze passend maken zodat de kleine gebruikssporen niet zichtbaar zijn. In ieder geval zijn de posters vrij zeldzaam, ze werden mij destijds toegezonden door een instantie als de V. Maier foundation of iets in die aard.

Contains various chapters on the work of this photographer:
SNAPSHOTS, AMERICA, DAY, MAXWELL, BEACH, 1968, DOWNTOWN, WALKS and NIGHT, each introduced by the authors.
Photographs from the early period and all later work except colour. Fantastic printing, fully illustrated. Almost 300 pages and at least as many photographs. Black and white. Hardcover, dust jacket, everything in mint condition.
Dimensions: 24 x 23.5 x 3.5 cm. Weight approximately 1.6 kg.

Two posters that will be sent in a tube together with the book. The photos show the posters framed. Please note: you will only receive the book and the posters, NOT the frames. Poster dimensions approximately 46 x 30 cm. Both posters have small traces of framing at the top. See last photos. If you use suitable frames without a passe-partout, you will not notice these marks. Otherwise, the posters are absolutely new. If you use a passe-partout, you can adjust it so that the small marks are not visible. In any case, the posters are quite rare; they were sent to me at the time by an organisation such as the V. Maier Foundation or something similar.
