The name itself is a statement of intent, evoking the "golden or divine ratio". The 1996 vintage reaffirmed the personality of a long-lived wine, full of nuances and subtleties.
Vinification: 26 days in vats, malolactic fermentation took place in barrels
Pairing: Meat, cheese and Iberian ham
Appearance: Intense violet red
Nose: Powerful and elegant, with a great complexity of aromas (jams, minerals, menthol, spices, wild herbs, caramel and cocoa)
Palate: Great harmony, with sweet tannins, very complex and rich in aromas of black fruit, raisins, liquorice, coffee, ink and aromatic herbs. Persistent finish
