This is an authentic Certina DS (Double Security) Automatic watch from the 1960s, a fine example of Swiss engineering and classic mid-century design.
The DS line (“Double Security”) became famous for its superior shock absorption and reinforced case construction — symbolized by the turtle emblem on the back, representing durability and water resistance.
This timepiece features its original stainless steel case, housing the dependable Certina 25-651 automatic movement. The dial shows a beautiful champagne tone with natural aging patina, giving it a distinctive vintage charm without being overdone.
