One refined antique Jubako重箱 designed with gold maki-e cranes and pine trees in two lids, ornate and beautiful. This Jubako have five compartments and two lids. The exterior of this Jubako shows a fine tiny black lacquer with smooth surface. The interior of the Jubako are coated with nashiji lacquer, a traditional Japanese finish that creates a thick gold dust effect over the entire surface. This finish offers a charming contrast to the glossy black exterior. Gold taka maki-e crane and pine tree pattern are also well designed on the reverse of the two lids, ornate and beautiful, it also symbolizes good luck and longevity.
