2nd Edition of one of Portugal’s finest wines. It achieved the highest rating ever given to a white wine from the Douro – 19.5 points by Grandes Escolhas. Old Vine Field Blend predominantly composed of Arinto, Rabigato, and Viosinho. AGING 2 years on fine lees in the same fermentation foudre, with periodic bâtonnage, in a temperature-controlled cellar. Displays great creaminess on the palate, with a full, textured body and remarkable freshness. The expressive fruit remains ever-present, accompanied by subtle smoky notes and hints of dried fruits. The finish is very long and distinguished. On the nose, it reveals outstanding complexity, with discreet, high-quality oak allowing the citrus fruit (tangerine, orange) and elegant floral notes to shine through.
