Handmade jacket in the style of Queen singer Freddie Mercury Handmade jacket in a cotton-polyester blend fabric with silver pins and piping along the front straps and silver and white piping on the front seam, back yoke seam, cuffs, and belt loops. The jacket is fully lined, machine washable at 30 degrees Celsius maximum, and requires no ironing. The jacket measures 59 cm in length ( 23,5 inches) , with sleeve lengths of 63 cm ( 25 inches ) a chest width of 108 cm (42,5 inches) and a shoulder width of 48 cm. This item was made in my workshop in northern Spain by a professional dressmaker and pattern maker with 30 years of experience. History: This jacket is a symbol of his final years with Queen, inspired by Spanish military uniforms and paired with white trousers. It is said to have been a tribute to Spain, one of his favorite countries, and that Mercury gave it to his partner Jim Hutton before he died. It debuted on the 1986 Magic Tour and appeared in the video for "Miracle." In this video, the jacket is worn by Scottish actor Ross McCall, then thirteen years old, who plays a "child" version of the singer. The yellow jacket is one of Mercury's most memorable outfits, representing his theatricality and charisma on stage during the final years of Queen.
