Madonna of Fedorov
The type of the Tenerezza Fedorovskaja was first painted in 1239, commissioned by Prince Vasilij Kavasnia of Kostroma, who had a miraculous vision during a hunting trip. The icon received its name from the church of Saint Fedor Stratilate where it was placed. With this icon, Tsarina Marfa Ioannovna blessed her son Mikhail Fedorovich, the first ruler of the Romanov dynasty, crowned on March 14, 1613. The icon thus became the patroness of the Romanovs, who venerated it in their private chapel at the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg.
The works are handcrafted in Italy and are distinguished by their unique modeling, unique chiaroscuro effects, and the quality of the materials used. A harmonious blend of originality, refinement, and creative flair makes each piece unique, highly appreciated by all lovers of art, quality, and an increasingly diverse international audience.
All creations feature an entirely manual finish, with the use of Pure Silver and 24K Gold.
