H.Moser & Cie. - Antique Silver Pocket Watch - 1900-1949

Antique H. MOSER & CIE Silver Pocket Watch – Functional, 1930s, Beautiful Signed Movement Offered for sale is an exceptional, 100% original Swiss pocket watch from the luxury manufacturer H. Moser & Cie, dating back to the mid-1930s (approx. 1934–1935). The watch has been preserved in very fine, authentic condition, free from unprofessional modern alterations. A true gem for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage watchmaking. Key features and specifications: Movement (Caliber): Classic manual-wind movement (15 jewels), fully and authentically signed with the official historical H. Moser & Cie emblem (featuring the initials HM and heraldic fleurs-de-lis). The movement is clean, complete, and fully functional—the watch keeps time correctly. Dial: White enamel, featuring the manufacturer's beautiful calligraphic signature "H-y Moser & C-ie". It boasts a less common layout with an additional red 24-hour scale (indices 13–24). Original decorative Breguet-style hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the bottom. The dial is clean, free from dark hairline cracks (often referred to as "spiderwebbing"). Case: Made of .800 grade silver, confirmed by official Swiss hallmarks (the Capercaillie) and the German imperial hallmark (Crown and Crescent). The case backs bear the mark of the FFBA, the Swiss association of silver case manufacturers. The reverse features classic guilloché decoration with a blank cartouche for initials. The inner dust cover is made of steel (signed "METAL," which was the factory standard at the time). Condition: The watch is in working order. The case and bimetallic elements are well-preserved, featuring a natural, fine patina. The crystal shows only minimal, superficial scratches. The only aesthetic flaws are two small losses of enamel on the dial: a smaller one at the 5 o'clock position and a slightly larger one between 10 and 11 o'clock (visible in the photos; there is no surrounding hairline cracking). This watch is ideal as a prestigious family heirloom, a capital investment, or an addition to an advanced collection. Private sale; no returns accepted. The photos are an integral part of the listing and show the watch's current condition. Please feel free to view my other listings.
