Special sheet consisting of four banknotes with a face value of 20 lei Starting on 1 December 2025, the National Bank of Romania launch into the numismatic circuit a special sheet consisting of four banknotes with a face value of 20 lei. Each special sheet contains four banknotes with a face value of 20 lei. The banknotes are consecutively numbered and have the same technical specifications as the 20 lei banknotes in circulation. The special sheets, each consisting of four banknotes with a face value of 20 lei, are inserted into personalized presentation envelopes and are accompanied by certificates of authenticity written in Romanian, English, and French. The certificates of authenticity bear the signatures of the Governor of the National Bank of Romania and the Chief Cashier, as well as the serial numbers of the banknotes. The maximum print run for the special sheets, each consisting of four banknotes with a face value of 20 lei, is 30,000 copies.
