Omega - Open Face Pocket Watch - "Red 12" Enamel Dial - c. 1912 ​Description ​An elegant and well-preserved example of early 20th-century Omega watchmaking. This open-face pocket watch features a crisp white enamel dial with ornate "Louis XIV" filigree hands and a distinctive red "12," a popular aesthetic choice of the era. ​The Movement: Inside is a high-quality Omega manual-wind movement, serial number 4409215, dating the piece to approximately 1912–1915. It features a fine-adjustment regulator and is signed "Omega" on the bridge. The movement appears clean and shows the characteristic circular graining (perlage) on the plates. ​The Case & Dial: ​The dial is in good condition with smull"hairline" (rare for enamel). ​The case back is signed with the Omega "Globe" logo and the serial number 5262569. ​The crown is a contrasting gold-tone (onion style), providing a nice tactile winding experience. ​The Chain & Medals: This lot includes a robust silver-tone curb-link chain. Attached are two striking protective talismans: ​St. George Medal: Depicting St. George slaying the dragon with the Latin inscription "S. GEORGIVS EQVITVM PATRONVS" (St. George, Patron of Knights). ​Storm Medal: Depicting Christ in the boat during the storm with the inscription "IN TEMPESTATE SECURITAS" (Safety in the Storm).
