Brass lamp with wood detail, which extends up to 68cm. Brass construction with iron weighted base. Tulip by GV Croismare. This tulip is in the shape typical of this maker. The company is known to have been a subsidiary of Muller Frères, producing only pate de verre glassware, . The glass is in very good condition apart from a small nibble to the edge of the collar, see last photo. The lamp is also without issues, and has original plug and ‘poire’ switch, the wire having recently been replaced. Fitting is E14. This is a large and imposing lamp of distinction.
