(Switzerland). Sandoz is famous for their patented long-running movements, which were frequently utilized by the British Royal Flying Corps (RFC) and the U.S. military during WWI. Because they only needed winding once a week, these" style watches were often mounted in the cockpits of early aircraft or used as "coach watches." ​Movement Details Reff:211775 Diameter:50mm Thickness:16.5mm ​Manufacturer: sandoz Watch Co., Switzerland. ​Jewels: 7 Jewels (indicating a high-grade, precision movement). ​Power Reserve: 8-Day (features a specialized large mainspring ​Condition: The movement appears clean and well-preserved.
