Two 17th century brass candlesticks

A rare near pair of cast and turned brass candlesticks, featuring baluster-shaped shafts and high truncated conical bases. The molded cylindrical sockets rest on square bases supported by four stylized claw feet.
Dimensions: height 21 cm and 20 cm; width 12 cm.
Combined weight: 1361 g
Condition: in very good condition considering their age, without noteworthy damage and with a fantastic patina. Some differences in the turning finish, visible in the photographs, and an approximate 1 cm height difference between the two.
