Javanese-Hindu mythology, Antaboga (the world serpent) kills Bambang Dursila, a chieftain's mischievous son, after Bambang attempts to slay and rob the serpent. (explanation from Roland Smeets, understanding Balinese woodcarvings).
On the bottom a part of an old galery stamp. 26 x 10 x 5.5 cm. 450 grams.
