The high rarity of the piece is due to the mark of the base belonging to a school of ceramists closely related to the official governing bodies of the contemporary Republic who often supplied the porcelain directly to the central government. Richly painted in every part with copious and brilliant colors, it captures a scene of an early spring dawn in a spectacular landscape on the slopes of imperious mountains in the horizon landscape and next to the banks of a lake with magnificent pagodas and temples connected by imperious bridges. The shape of the vessels are handsome, upright, dignified, intricately decorated, and magnificent.
