A classic and stylish original Art Deco table lamp, dating from the 1930s. The lamp features a sculpture of a kneeling female nude with her arms raised behind her head, a typical pose for the Art Deco period. The figure is made of spelter (régule) with a green verdigris-style finish, designed to mimic the look of patinated bronze. She rests on a rectangular base made of heavy, veined marble in dark earth tones. Next to the figure is a spherical shade made of white opaline glass (milk glass), which creates a soft, diffused light when lit. This is a beautiful decorative piece that captures the elegance of the roaring twenties and thirties.
