Made by Samuel Alcock & Co. a large Staffordshire pottery and porcelain manufacturer operating from the Hill Pottery in Burslem from approximately 1822 to 1859. Many of Alcock's useful porcelains from the 1830s and 1840s were unmarked with a maker's mark, making the pattern numbers a key identifier for collectors. Pattern numbers such as this one 7322, help in identifying specific designs and dating the pieces, typically to the mid-19th century.
