This is a lovely vintage set from Siam. It was made in the first half of the 20th century. The niello technique was traditionally used; artisans carve deep lines in silver, fill them with a black mixture, then fire and polish to reveal intricate, detailed images, creating beautiful dark-and-light patterns popular since the mid-20th century. Here we have a panel bracelet measuring 17 x 3.7cm which will fit a small to medium wrist. The panels depict different goddesses. The box clasp is marked: Made in Siam Sterling and has 2 extra securities. The necklace is 42 cm long and has 7 triangle shaped panels in the middle. The rest of the chain has small blackened knobs. The middle panel is marked on the back for Made in Siam Sterling. The brooch is 4.7 x 4.0cm and has an openwork setting for a blackened panel with a traditional carving of a goddess. It has a vintage trombone clasp and is marked Siam Sterling. Nice set for the collector. Please take a good look at the photos for all details.
