This is a vintage CASIO electronic calculator “memory-8A”, released in 1974 and representing an early generation of portable electronic calculators. It features an 8-digit display and includes a practical memory function, which made it a popular model at the time. In addition to basic arithmetic operations, the calculator is equipped with three memory keys, square root, percent, AC/C keys, and a decimal point setting switch. It uses an NEC CPU and is also known by the model designation CD-813. The calculator shows small scratches and stains consistent with age and storage, but there is no significant damage. Operation has been confirmed using the included AC adapter; all keys respond and calculations are correct. Battery operation has not been tested, so please assume AC use only. A desirable piece for collectors of vintage electronics, retro computing, or Casio history.
