Seiko - Bell-Matic - Ohne mindestpreis - 4006-7012 - Herren - 1973

EU-based professional seller — no import taxes for EU buyers. Get your hands on this vintage Seiko Bell-Matic 4006-7000 from February 1967. Automatic alarm watch, serviced, guaranteed, with new crystal and leather strap. Classic vintage Seiko. Model History: The Seiko Bell-Matic is one of the most technically interesting wristwatches of the 1960s, representing Seiko’s innovative approach to complications. Introduced in the mid-1960s, the Bell-Matic series was among the first automatic wristwatches in the world to feature a fully mechanical alarm complication. Unlike hand-wound alarm watches, the Bell-Matic uses an ingenious automatic winding system combined with a separate alarm barrel, allowing the alarm to function independently of the main timekeeping power reserve. The reference 4006-7000 is an early and highly regarded variant, produced during the formative years of the Bell-Matic line. Its clean, functional dial layout, combined with the distinctive fluted chapter ring and dual-crown configuration, makes it a quintessential example of late-1960s Japanese watch design - robust, practical, and technically ambitious. Specifications: • Brand: Seiko • Model: Bell-Matic • Reference: 4006-7000 • Production Date: February 1967 • Movement: Seiko Cal. 4006 automatic alarm movement • Jewels: 27 jewels • Functions: Time, day/date, mechanical alarm • Case Material: Stainless steel • Case Diameter: approx. 38.5 mm without crown, 40 mm with crown • Lug-to-Lug: approx. 43 mm • Lug Width: 18 mm • Dial: Silver-white brushed dial with applied indices and fluted chapter ring • Crystal: New, scratch-free crystal • Strap: New leather strap • Accessories: Watch only (no box or papers) Condition: The watch is in very good vintage condition. The stainless-steel case shows some signs of age-appropriate wear, while retaining strong lines and a pleasing overall presence. The silver-white brushed dial is well preserved, with light patina visible mainly on the hands, adding character without detracting from legibility. The fluted chapter ring remains crisp and visually striking. The crystal has been replaced with a new, scratch-free example, ensuring excellent clarity. The movement has been professionally serviced and is running properly, with the alarm function operating as intended. The watch is fitted with a new leather strap and is offered with a 3-month functionality warranty. I aim to capture the condition of the watch accurately. Please make sure to review the pictures closely before bidding. The watch has been completely serviced by a professional watchmaker and tested for full functionality.
