The radio has been tested and is working well. I tested it on the FM band, which is the only band still operating in Germany these days, and the sound quality and reception were excellent, as is typical of devices from that era. I removed the rear cover and photographed the interior of the unit to show its original condition, which you can clearly see in the attached photos. The magic eye tuning indicator lights up clearly, even with room lighting present, and the dial scale illumination is also working.
