A direct drive system is adopted as the drive system. Since there are no rotational flutter mechanisms such as belts and idlers, there is no wow transmission or rumble caused by them, and there is no part that causes abrasion or deformation, so initial performances can be maintained for a long time. DENON's proprietary high-precision magnetic recording detection method is used to detect rotational speed. DENON's unique method records 1,000 high-precision pulse signals on a magnetic material coated inside the turntable rim and detects them with a magnetic head to control the rotational speed.
