A beautiful pair of neoclassical glass column lamps by SPEER (USA) in an excellent condition. The square base of the armatures is crafted from stone (black granite), holding a polished brass pedestal which leads to the glass column shaped mid-section of the armatures. Inside the glass, a brass cilinder can be seen. The top of the column is decorated with a brass corinthian capital, which holds the socket. The off-white stiffel linen pagoda shaped covers create a warm glow when the lights are switched on, as can be seen in the pictures. The rotary on/off-switch is built into the socket of the lamps. With a weight of 3,4kg each, the lamps are relatively heavy. The plugs are type A (USA) and come with adapters to type C (Europlug). Both the lamps are in a perfect working order.
