Charming vintage Endura "direct read" jump hour watch from the 1960s, featuring the distinctive space-age time display that was popular during this era. Instead of traditional hands, the hours are shown through a digital aperture at 12 o'clock, while minutes are displayed via a retrograde arc with a sweeping red hand. A date window sits at 6 o'clock. CONDITION: The gold-plated case shows plating wear consistent with 50+ years of age. Dial is in good vintage condition with the champagne sunburst finish intact and all printing legible—the Endura script, hour/minute apertures, and date window all read clearly. The acrylic crystal has light surface scratches but nothing deep. Most importantly, all functions work: the watch runs and keeps good time. The jump hour advances (for each hour there are red and black numbers for each half of the hour), the retrograde minutes sweep properly, and the date changes. Fitted with brown aftermarket leather strap.
