Square-shaped folding Hungarian silver case, made of 800 fineness silver, bearing the Pénzverő (PV) maker’s mark. The piece dates to the interwar period, circa 1930s. The exterior features fine engine-turned (guilloché) decoration, with a clean and restrained Art Deco character. The construction is solid and well-balanced, with precise fitting and good overall craftsmanship. The case has a traditional opening mechanism, which functions properly. The interior is empty; no mirror is present, however the piece retains its original silver insert frame, allowing a mirror or custom insert to be added if desired.
