It is a major innovation: it was created in 1978 as the first sparkling wine from the Langhe, when almost no white wines existed and sparkling wine was a very high-end product at the time. For 30 years, they remained the sole producer of sparkling wine using grapes from this area. Founded in 1974 by Valentino Migliorini, the Rocche dei Manzoni winery is located in Monforte d'Alba, in the Manzoni area.
